Recipe... Healthy birthday snacks!

Tuesday it's my 20th birthday, I'm getting old heh. And of course I'm making healthy snacks, one of them are my favorite vegan brownies, super easy to make and DE-LI-CIOUS!

Vegan brownies
  • 100 grams of almond flour
  • 2 bananas
  • 9 dates
  • 2 tbsps soy milk
  • 2 tbsps cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Mix the bananas and dates in a food processor. Put the almond flour, cacao powder, soy milk and maple syrup in a bowl and add the banana and date mixture. Stir everything together with a mixer. Pour the mixture in a cake tin with parchment paper. Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Let it cool off (or not hihi) and enjoy!

And something I already made a post about:

Nutty cookies/bars
  • 1 banana
  • 15 dates
  • 50 grams of walnuts
Preheat the oven to 180°C/360°F. Mix everything in a food processor or blender. Spread the mixture in a cake tin with parchment paper.

Topping:
  • chia seeds
  • cashews
  • almonds
  • pumpkin seeds
  • handful of pumpkin seeds
  • walnuts
Add all of the above on top of the bars. Bake for 15-20 minutes, let it cool off and enjoy!

Recipe... Healthy (and vegan) mini energy bars

Everybody wants to be full of energy when they start their workout, but I am not really into those energy bars that are on the market, most of the time they are full of chemical stuff. And you maybe already know is that I LOVE real foods. And what is better than making an energy bar with real foods, and even better: it is delicious!

Ingredients
  • 1 large banana
  • 8 dates
  • Handful of walnuts
  • 50 grams of oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 180°C/360°F. Mix everything in a food processor or blender. Spread the mixture in a rectangle shape on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add some cashews, almonds and pumpkin seeds on top of the bars. Bake for 15-20 minutes, let it cool off and enjoy!
